Northville Police Seek Driver in Minor Accident

Police would like to talk to the Northville student driver involved in the accident.

Northville Township police are looking for the female student driver who was involved in a minor car accident at today.

Public Safety Director John Werth said the accident was not serious and the driver is not in trouble.

"All we need to do is document incident," Werth said.

A male student was walking and tripped, falling into a moving car, according to an email message from principal Rob Watson to parents. It also reads that, "The student injured his arm. The driver of the vehicle asked the student if he was OK and the student responded that he was. The van then left the parking lot."

The driver is believed to be a female student driving a silver van.

Werth said police would also like to talk to witnesses of the accident. They are urged to call township dispatch at 248-349-9400.
