Northville Schools Remain Closed Wednesday for Extreme Cold
District officials have cancelled school due to inclement weather.
Northville Public Schools were anticipated to be open Wednesday. However, the district announced school closures late Tuesday night.
"While we had hoped to be back in school tomorrow, the National Weather Service and local meteorologists are predicting wind chill temperatures as low at -22 to -23 overnight and on Wednesday, which is in the 30 minute threshold for risk of frostbite for exposed skin," read the email from the district to parents.
This is the sixth snow day for Northville Public Schools since the start of 2014.
