SADD Hosts Valentine's Movie Night for Kids

Elementary aged children are invited to the event on Friday.

Northville High School’s SADD (Students Against Destructive Decisions) Chapter is hosting its annual Valentine’s Day Movie and Craft Night on Friday in the high school cafeteria at 6:45 p.m., according to an email from the Northville Schools listserv.

All elementary students are welcome to attend. The event will include Valentine’s Day related crafts, stories, games, food, and a movie. This year's movie is Be My Valentine, Charlie Brown.

Parents are required to stay for the entire event. Children are welcome to dress in festive pinks, reds or hearts. They are also encouraged to bring pillows or blankets to relax on the floor while watching the movie.

This year SADD is asking for a suggested donation of $2 per child to help defray the cost of the craft supplies and to raise money for Northville’s SADD Chapter. The organization will also be selling baked goods and popcorn to raise money.
