The 3rd Annual REI Frosty Freestyle race returns to Huron Meadows Metropark this weekend. It's a cross-country ski race that includes skate and classic technique divisions for both 5K and 15K distances.
Both beginners and advanced skiers are invited to participate.
Also this year, a children's race is planned.

The event is part of the Michigan Cup Series, endorsed by the Governor's Council on Physical Fitness, Health and Sports.
All proceeds go to Huron Meadows to promote cross-country skiing.
