Northville FIRST Robotics 2012 District Competition

 Rebound Rumble

Northville High School Gymnasium

Friday, March 23rd and Saturday, March 24th

Opening Ceremonies - Friday 10:30am

Qualifying Matches -    Friday 11:00am to 7:00pm and

                                 Saturday 9:30am to 12:30pm

Finals                         Saturday 2:00pm

Northville High School will be hosting it’s first

“FIRST” Robotics Competition – Rebound Rumble.

40 High School Robotics Teams will be competing.

The Event is free and open to the public.

Rebound Rumble is an exciting game played by two competing Alliances on a flat, 27 x 54 foot field. Each Alliance consists of three robots from three high schools . They compete to score as many basketballs into their hoops as they can during a 2 minute and 15 second match. The match ends with robots attempting to balance on bridges located at the middle of the field.

The matches are exciting for all ages!

FIRST stands for “For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology”. FIRST brings the excitement of a sporting event to science and technology via robotics competitions.  FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) is a unique competition for high school teams around the world where students design and build a robot to compete with and against other robots.  For more information go to www.robostangs.com or www.USFirst.org.

Joe, the closed sign was in the window because Chocolates by Renee was closed for the day. The forRead More rent sign was in the window because the space holds more then one business. The other space that the chocolate store does not occupy is available to rent.

The for rent sign has been there for over a year, same with the closed sign. Spend time in your city everyone, and you'll know whats going on before you see it online!
