Rebound Rumble is an exciting game played by two competing Alliances on a flat, 27 x 54 foot field. Each Alliance consists of three robots from three high schools . They compete to score as many basketballs into their hoops as they can during a 2 minute and 15 second match. The match ends with robots attempting to balance on bridges located at the middle of the field.
The matches are exciting for all ages!
FIRST stands for “For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology”. FIRST brings the excitement of a sporting event to science and technology via robotics competitions. FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) is a unique competition for high school teams around the world where students design and build a robot to compete with and against other robots.
