Northville Loses 1-Nil to Plymouth Wildcats
Northville's varsity girls soccer team are defeated by an early goal during a conference crossover against the Plymouth Wildcats.
The storms that postponed Northville High School's baseball, softball, and JV girls soccer games against Plymouth High School cleared just in time for the varsity girls soccer match Monday evening.
It was a close and hard fought game by both sides, separated only by an early goal by Plymouth's Stephanie Dillon.
Dillon bent one into the net from a corner kick near the 20th minute. She said after the game that she was "Relieved, actually, that we scored pretty early in the game," but admitted, "it was definitely hard to keep the intensity the whole game."

The Mustangs came out hard in the second half. Their intensity increased throughout the half, ending the last ten minutes with a fierce offensive push. Plymouth's keeper, Marissa Williams, secured the Wildcat's lead during this push with repeated saves that sparked jeers from the stands.
This was Northville's second loss overall, but it doesn't affect their standing in the Central Division where their record remains at 8-1-1.
