Northville Tennis Team Beats Out Grand Blanc For KLAA Title
Northville tennis wins its first KLAA Championship.
The tennis team has won its first Kensington Lakes Activities Association championship on Tuesday.
The Flint Journal, via MLive.com, reports that the sixth-ranked tennis team took out Grand Blanc by a score of 8-1. Northville won three of four singles flights, one was lost by default, and all five doubles matches on Tuesday.
Singles winners are Joanne Weber, Mackenzie Powers and Alex Jeannotte. Winners of the doubles matches are Christy Murphy and Danielle Romano, Jackie Kjolhede and Ally Weaver, Elizabeth Sakorafis and Christy Snyder, Lauren Starr and Emily Toupin, and Ria Barad and Kelly Turner.
