Novi High School came to Northville on Tuesday for a boy's varsity soccer match and left with another win added to their now 4-1 record.
Gameplay was heated throughout the match with seven cards given by the game's end.
The Wildcats got their first goal in the first half off of a penalty kick and got their second shortly after.
Senior forward Aaron Quinley scored Novi's second goal.
"It felt good, but I knew we had to play defense afterwards," Quinley said.
Northville rallied a push late in the second half, scoring a goal in the last 10 minutes of play. The Mustangs kept the pressure on until the last second but were unsuccessful in tying the game.
