VIDEO: Northville High School Hosts Memorial Wrestling Tournament

The tournament was held in honor of former student Todd Schoenheide, who was killed by a drunk driver in 2005.

On Saturday, dozens of wrestlers filled 's gym for the .

. He was an avid wrestler, football player and a Boy Scout.

The tournament is a way to honor his life, coaches said. Northville hosted five other teams: the Ann Arbor Skyline Eagles, the Dearborn Crestwood Chargers, the Dearborn High School Pioneers, the Plymouth Wildcats and the Saline Hornets.

I knew Todd and his family. Always a nice kid. I was so sad to hear that he had passed away, but will always remember his smile. Keep up the good work in his memory.
