Rachel has so much heart.  Her passion to lead the team shines, no matter what group of players is with her on the floor.

She has developed a high level of understanding of the game, and uses her knowledge to propel her teammates into success.

Rachel has played many positions over her span of volleyball.  I have personally written her in lineups as everything except middle blocker this season!

Saturday [Nov. 2], the team won their last tournament of the season at Seaholm High School.  Rachel lead the team in aces and assists.  She stacked up 11 aces in 6 matches.  4 of them were vs the schools rival, Novi.  It was a major contribution for the first victory vs Novi this season.   Rachel added 66 assists to her current year total of 779.  It will be exciting to see how many more assist and aces she can chalk up in the post season that starts Monday at home.

Rachel has dedicated herself to carrying on the Mustang traditions that have been put in place over the last 5 years.  She is the first in the gym setting up, and is always looking out for her teammates as well as freshman and JV players.  I hope she decides to mentor other players through coaching after her college playing career is complete.

Rachel is looking to continue her career at Albion college.
