Mustangs Gear Up For Fall Season

Mustang athletes will hit the fields, trails, courts, course and pool next week signifying the start of another exciting fall sports season at . It also means that the start of school is just around the corner.

Football begins on Monday, August 8 and all other sports (cross country, boys soccer, boys tennis, girls golf, girls swimming and volleyball) start on Wednesday, August 10.

Though the official start dates are next week, athletes from most of these teams have been busy during the summer working on their skills and staying in shape. Tryouts are extremely competitive at NHS with over 2,200 students.

It will not be long before excited students and fans can be seen walking across the Eight Mile bridge on their way to the NHS stadium to enjoy a Friday night football game under the lights. An exciting time of the year!
