Northville Man Named to Salvation Army Advisory Board

Dan Ponder has been named to the Metropolitan Detroit Advisory Board.

Northville resident Dan Ponder has been named to the Metropolitan Detroit Advisory Board of the Salvation Army, according to a press release.

Ponder is the chief executive officer of Detroit-based Franco Public Relations Group. He and his wife Cathy live in Northville.

Some of his volunteer and civic activities include: Chairman of the Board of Michigan Chamber of Commerce and Inaugural Chair of its Energy, Telecommunications & Technology Committee; board member of the Detroit Regional Foundation and member of Detroit Regional Chamber Audit Committee; Immediate Past Chair of Crime Stoppers of Michigan, and member of Henry Ford Estate- Fair Lane Advisory Board.

Also named to the advisory board is Gary Marowske of Gross Pointe Farms. 

The Salvation Army is non-profit, faith-based service organization and operates 180 facilities throughout Michigan.
