Northville's Marquis Theatre has provided 33 years of live entertainment for adults and young children. Theatrical productions of classic story-books such as Hansel and Gretel, Rapunzel, Anabella's Broom and Beauty and the Beast are its usual repertoire. Birthday parties are also available. Young children's birthday amenities include gifts, backstage passes, drinks, balloons, assigned programs for the birthday child, tables, chairs, and tablecloths. Marquis Theatre also provides theatre day camp for children six through fourteen. Children learn professional theatrical instructions, singing, dancing and improvisation. Group rates and reserved seating for 20 or more are available on location.

The shows there are great. Really, they're fantastic. I've seen them and been in them. They have fun songs, costumes, and characters. But the Marquis has something else. A sense of family. It's my second home. I've been in numerous productions here and almost cry after the final show in every production. Everyone there is so nice, you can wear sweats and a t-shirt to rehersals and no one cares!!!! The adults are fantastic and the kids are too. I've made better friends there then some of the people I've met in my 11 years of schooling. I'll miss the Marquis and would strongly recommend it for anyone, a 3 year old watching a show, or a 12 year old auditioning. You're in a family. And you'll never forget it. Ever.
