Troop 755 celebrates 65th anniversary at Northville's Ford Field.
Hundreds of Troop 755 members from past and present packed Ford Field in Northville on Saturday as the troop marked its 65th anniversary. The honor earned kudos from Sens. Carl Levin and Debbie Stabenow (D-Michigan), Rep. Thaddeus McCotter (R-Plymouth) and Michigan Governor Rick Snyder, who all submitted letters congratulating the troop on the feat. Scoutmaster Mike Kowalczyk welcomed past scoutmasters and scouts and emceed the event. In person, Rep. Kurt Heise (R-Plymouth) offered a speech for the scouts in attendance and noted his enjoyment working with local scouts groups. Were you at this event? Submit your photos above!

Directions: Ford Field is located at 2000 Brush St., just south of Interstate 75 (Fisher Freeway) and across Brush Street from Comerica Park. Suggested routes are listed on the Ford Field website. Parking: The attached parking map (PDF) indicates lots around Ford Field and routes to get there. There are several parking garages in the area that are within a short distance of the stadium.
