The Mega Millions jackpot has leaped to more than half a billion dollars. It's estimated at $640 million for Friday night's drawing — $462 million if a sole winner takes the cash payout. You didn't win Tuesday night's Mega Millions jackpot? No worries. Neither did anyone else. Now, the prize amount has grown to the highest-ever in the game's 15-year history. Friday night's estimated jackpot sits at $500 million, already up from Wednesday morning's initial estimate of $476 million. The drawing occurs at 11 p.m., with a 10:45 p.m. cutoff for buying tickets. For those still needing to check, Tuesday's winning numbers were 09, 19, 34, 44, 51 and the gold ball of 24. The Northville Meijer sold five of Michigan's nine winning Mega Millions Lottery tickets on March 20 – which amounts to $1.25 million in winnings. According to the Michigan Lottery, it is likely that one person bought all five of the winning tickets purchased in Northville for the March 20 Mega Millions drawing. The tickets are valued at $250,000 each. Michigan Lottery officials won't know for sure until the winner, or winners, comes forward. "We have had instances before when a player had a hunch and bought more than one ticket for a particular drawing," said Commissioner M. Scott Bowen in a press release.
