Red Wings Coach, General Manager to Ring Salvation Army Bell in Northville

Mike Babcock and Ken Holland will ring the Salvation Army bell Tuesday at Hiller's Market.

While the current NHL lockout between owners and players has jeopardized the 2012-13 NHL season, Novi hockey fans still can see some of their favorite Detroit Red Wings in action. Red Wings coach Mike Babcock will join Executive Vice President and General Manager Ken Holland will appear Tuesday, Dec. 11 at Hiller’s Market in Northville from 4:30–6:30 p.m. to raise money for the Salvation Army. Holland is serving as Honorary Chairman of the 2012 Red Kettle Campaign for the seventh straight year. The coach and general manager's appearance is part of an effort by the Red Wings to compete amongst themselves for bragging rights across Metro Detroit to see which players and team personnel can raise the most money for the Salvation Army's Red …
