Beautiful Shepherd Mix Lost Her Family and Needs New Home
Baby is a sweet, affectionate and playful dog.
Baby, a female Shepherd mix, was at a recent Waggin’ Tails Dog Rescue adoption event. She's almost 5 years old and weighs about 53 pounds. It's not known which breeds of Shepherd she is. I got to meet Baby and her foster mom, Jennifer Behnke, who told me about Baby’s background. From the time she was a puppy she lived on a farm with a loving family. They had her spayed, kept shots current and even got her a license, which is unusual for rural pets. Unfortunately, a child in the family was severely injured in an accident. The doctor advised the family to find another home for Baby, since having an active dog in the house could put the child at risk while recovering.
