Plymouth Ice Festival 2013: Schedule of Events

Here is the complete listing of events for the 2013 Plymouth Ice Festival, which begins Jan. 18.

3 p.m. to 10 p.m.:  Festival area open 7 p.m.: Opening Ceremony presented by Eastern Michigan University at the Community Financial Main Stage 8 p.m.:  Fire and Ice Towers are lit in Kellogg Park 10 p.m.:  Main festival area closes 3 p.m. to 10 p.m.: ACO Hardware Made in Michigan Marketplace on Forest Avenue 6 p.m. to Midnight:  AGA Nation Downtown Rail Jam at EG Nicks on Forest Avenue 6 p.m. to Midnight:  MGM Grand Party Lot Lodge open with live music, giveaways and drink specials 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.:  Festival open Noon to 3 p.m.:  Radio Disney on the Community Financial Main Stage Noon to 3 p.m.:  College Individual Carving Competition begins in Kellogg Park presented by Genisys Credit Union 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.:  Free arts and crafts …

Plymouth Ice Festival: What You Need to Know

Heading to the Plymouth Ice Festival this weekend? Here's what you need to know.

The Plymouth Ice Festival begins Friday, Jan. 18, in downtown Plymouth. Heading downtown? Here's what you need to know: Friday, Jan. 18 – 3-10 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 19 – 10 a.m.-10 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 20 – 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Sculptures are available for viewing 24 hours a day and will remain standing after the event, weather-permitting. See the attached parking map for parking locations in downtown Plymouth. Roadside parking also available in adjacent subdivisions except where marked otherwise. See the attached walking map for a list of restaurants and shops to help find your way around downtown.
