Night of Recognitions at Northville School Board Meeting
At Tuesday night's school board meeting, many were recognized including legislators, students, coaches and more.
The Northville School Board recognized legislators, athletes and coaches at its meeting Tuesday at Winchester Elementary School. The board will meet again Thursday at its central offices for a special session to name a superintendent. The board briefly addressed the looming $1.4-million deficit and said that the board will address it further in its January meeting, including discussing whether personnel cuts will be necessary. On Tuesday, the board honored several state legislators, including Sen. Bruce Patterson, R-7th District; Sen. Nancy Cassis, R-15th District; and state Rep. Marc Corriveau, D-20th District.
