The Easter Bunny arrives in Novi on March 8.

All signs point to spring at Twelve Oaks Mall this March, as the Easter Bunny hops into the Central Park Garden display on March 8. The Easter Bunny will stay at the mall in Novi through March 30. The mall will be closed on Easter Sunday, March 31. Photos with the Easter Bunny are available for purchase, and each child who visits receives a free gift. Central Park Garden is located in the Lower Level Center Court. Photo operation hours are Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. The Easter Bunny takes brief carrot breaks throughout the day. Tin Fish Loss is The Cheesecake Factory's Gain

A Twelve Oaks Mall representative says the wildly popular chain restaurant's first Michigan location will open by the end of the year.

A Novi restaurant noted for its upscale atmosphere and live music quietly closed last week. And what's taking its place has already taken metro Detroit by storm.  The Cheesecake Factory's first Michigan location will fill the vacancy left by Tin Fish, which celebrated its opening at Twelve Oaks Mall in June of 2010. Tin Fish's Patridge Creek Mall location, on Hall Road in Clinton Township, remains open. An employee who answered the phone there declined to comment on why the restaurant closed.  Owners of the new restaurant expect to move in to the space, located between Nordstrom and Lord & Taylor adjacent to the mall's valet parking station, by the end of the year, Twelve Oaks marketing and sponsorship director Peggy Hayes said.  Since …

Pets Can Take Photos with Santa Sunday

Bring your pet to Twelve Oaks Mall to get a photo keepsake.

Photos with Santa aren't just for children anymore.  The public is invited to bring their pets big and small to pose with Santa on Sunday, Dec. 2 from 9-10:45 a.m. in Center Court at Twelve Oaks Mall. Space is limited and you must make a reservation by calling 248-348-9438. All dogs and cats must be on a leash or in a carrier and be up-to-date on all shots.

Car Stolen From Twelve Oaks Mall Parking Lot

The following information was supplied by the Novi Police Department.

The Novi police were dispatched to Twelve Oaks Mall on Nov. 23 after a woman told mall security that she could not find her car and believed it was stolen, according to a police report. The woman works at JCPenney and said she parked her van in the first space near package pickup at 7:30 a.m. When she finished work at 8:45 p.m., she went out to the parking lot and the car was gone, the report said. The woman said she still had her keys and her husband had the only other pair of keys, the report said. Twelve Oaks security captured the incident on video, the report said. At around 4:30 p.m., four male suspects can be seen walking around the van. Two of the men are seen getting into the van and driving it away, the report said. No glass or …
