CVS Pharmacy’s Minute Clinic Offers Free Diabetes Testing Until Jan. 15
Minute Clinic’s free Hemoglobin A1C test offers vital information on one of the fastest growing killers in the U.S.
According to the Center for Disease Control, diabetes affects almost 24 million people in the US. It's estimated that 54 million Americans have pre-diabetes which, if neglected, can develop into Type 2 Diabetes. Last year, the Americans Diabetes Association (ADA) said that the A1C test is now appropriate for diagnosing diabetes. Prevention is the most important combative fight against this disease. That's where the Minute Clinic, located in select CVS Pharmacies in the Metro Detroit area, has stepped in. Right now, The Minute Clinic is offering to anyone who is interested, a free hemoglobin A1C test. This is a measure of sugar levels over a period of about three months. Just found that "123 Get Samples" is promoting a wide variety of major brands by providing free samples. You’ll have to fill in your zip code to see if you can qualify to receive them. You can get all samples from one place. I think it is available for most of the zip codes and it worked for me. more ›
