Kristina Fossbakk, Neighbor

Growing up watching the news,  Kristina would mimic the news reporters for her family members. From a young age, she knew that becoming a reporter would be her life's goal. Kristina recently graduated from Oakland University where she was a morning news anchor and covered on-campus events for OU's student-run news station. Kristina was also an intern at WYXZ Channel 7. While there, she had the opportunity to watch great reporters like Cheryl Chodun and Tom Wait at work and they have since become her role models. She also had the opportunity to assist newsroom personnel cover groundbreaking news stories such as the raid of the Hutaree Militia and the shooting of Detroit Police officer Brian Huff.
