Reel Michigan Film Festival Coming Soon to Northville

You can already get your tickets to this film festival.

The Reel Michigan Film Festival, for Michigan-made films, will be in downtown Northville this year on June 29 at the historic Marquis Theatre.

The festival is part of the fourth annual Arts and Acts Festival in downtown Northville. There will be screenings of a diverse collection of Michigan-made short films beginning at 5 p.m. at the Marquis Theatre followed by a Q&A with filmmakers.  There will also be a special screening of Judith R. Burdick's documentary, “Transforming Loss,” at 8:30 pm. Immediately following the film is an after-party, with awards, at Poole's Bak Bar.

The documentary “Transforming Loss,” produced by Judith Burdick, provides first-person accounts of six Michigan families and their stories of loss and transformation.
