Accused Northville Teen Reaches Plea Deal

The teen is accused of asking an 11-year-old boy to perform a sex act.

Joseph Miklos of Northville, the 19-year-old who is accused of asking an 11-year-old boy to perform a sex act, has reached a plea deal.

According to the Northville Record, the original charge of second-degree criminal sexual conduct has been dismissed against him. Instead, he pleaded no contest to attempted criminal sexual conduct.

Miklos will be sentenced June 25 on a charge of assault with intent to commit criminal sexual conduct - a charge that can still result in a person listed on the sexual offender list, the article states.

Miklos is accused of inviting an 11-year-old boy to his house where he "engaged in unwanted sexual contact," according to city of Northville police. He is charged with second degree criminal sexual conduct.
