Northville High Dance Team Showcase Features Amy Yakima

The Northville High School (NHS) varsity and junior varsity dance teams present a dance showcase Friday with a packed program of special performances.

Northville's Amy Yakima, winner of "So You Think You Can Dance," will perform at the show. She shared her expertise at the dance team's clinic Saturday at Performer's Edge Dance Company. See video of her special dance lesson.

There will also be performances by dance team members, dance clinic participants, select NHS performance groups and NHS dance team alumni.

The showcase begins at 6:30 p.m. in the Northville High School Auditorium. Tickets are $5 and can be purchased from a dance team member or just before the show's start Friday. Tickets are general admission and the doors open at 6 p.m.
