Boys Use Counterfeit Money to Buy Ice Cream

The following information was supplied by the City of Northville police.

Three boys used counterfeit money to pay for their ice cream at Fred’s Ice Cream,  May 2, according to a City of Northville police report.

The counterfeit money was a $50 bill, the report said. An employee reported to police that the same three subjects came back a few minutes later to get more ice cream, according to the report.

An employee later marked the bill with a counterfeit pen and the color on the bill was brown instead of clear or yellow, the report said.
