Northville ACT/MME Results To Be Released Today

Check back with Northville Patch later today for a look at how students fared on their ACT/MME tests.

Michigan students' ACT college readiness assessment and Michigan Merit Examination results will be released Monday morning for students in Northville and in all public schools across the state.

The results were scheduled to be released at 10 a.m.

The Michigan Merit Examination (MME) assesses students in grade 11 and eligible students in grade 12 based on Michigan high school standards. It is administered each March, and consists of three components:

  • ACT Plus Writing® college entrance examination
  • WorkKeys® job skills assessments in reading, mathematics, and "locating information"
  • Michigan-developed assessments in mathematics, science, and social studies

Northville High School students scored well above the state average on the MME in the 2011-12 school year. Northville's average composite ACT score last year was 24, which was an increase from 23 during the 2009-2011 school years. Northville's ACT score from last year was above the state average of 19 out of a possible 36.
