Will Amy Yakima Win 'So You Think You Can Dance' Season 10?

The winners will be revealed on tonight's season finale at 8 p.m.

Amy Yakima's supporters are waiting anxiously to hear the answer to that question.

Viewers' votes from last week's episode will determine if Yakima, 19, of Northville and 2011 graduate of Northville High School, wins FOX's 10th season of "So You Think Can Dance". The season finale 8 p.m. tonight will reveal the two winners: one male and one female.

It's a been a long journey for Yakima.

"We would like to thank each and every one of you who helped get Amy to the finale! Of course, we would love to see her win Tuesday night, but no matter what happens, we are incredibly proud of her!" wrote Yakima's mother, Mary Beth, on her Facebook page.

The show's judges praised Yakima continuously during the season. After watching one of her performances in the finale's first part last week, celebrity guest judge Paula Abdul said she was perfection, according to a post on The Wall Street Journal. The judges complimented Yakima's power and stamina after her solo performance, according to the post.

Dancing has been a part of Yakima's life since she was 3 years old, continuing during school — when she was on Northville High School's dance team — and after.

"She says it’s really not about the winning; it's being a part of it. She feels she’s a winner already," said Mary Beth Yakima, Amy's mom, before she caught a flight to see her daughter on one of the shows.

Yakima is a "hometown girl" and has no shortage of supporters in Northville.  Mary Beth Yakima thanked, on her Facebook page, the loyal family, friends and fans who voted without fail every Tuesday.

President Obama's live speech to the nation on Syria at 9 p.m. will affect the air times for tonight's episode, according to FOX.
