1. Northville Summer Carnival

When: Thursday to Sunday
Where: Northville Downs parking lot
What: The annual Northville Summer Carnival brings rides, games and food to Northville this weekend. See more details at the link above.

2. Arts and Acts Celebration

When: Friday to Sunday
Where: downtown Northville
What: Arts and Acts features art, music, film and theatre all in one city this weekend. See more details at the link above.


3. Reel Michigan Film Festival

When: starts 5 p.m. Saturday
Where: Marquis Theatre in downtown Northville
What: The festival is part of the fourth annual Arts and Acts Festival in downtown Northville. There will be screenings of a diverse collection of Michigan-made short films beginning at 5 p.m. at the Marquis Theatre followed by a Q&A with filmmakers.  There will also be a special screening of Judith R. Burdick's documentary, “Transforming Loss,” at 8:30 pm. Immediately following the film is an after-party, with awards, at Poole's Bak Bar.
